Majoribanks (traditionally pronounced "Marchbanks") is an old Scottish surname; family tradition ties its origins to lands linked to Marjorie Bruce, daughter of Robert the Bruce, though records also connect the name to Ratho, near Edinburgh.

It's made from 100% poly poplin-canvas, with fine warp threads and thicker weft yarns for a fabric that's sturdy but light enough to move well outdoors, and the artwork is printed on both faces for consistent color.
