Clan Bell Crest Garden Flag – Outdoor Scottish Display

Bell families were strongly established around Middlebie in Dumfriesshire, and historical records connect the name with Blacket House. This garden flag carries the Bell crest design on a tartan background for an outdoor display of that Scottish Border connection.

The traditional motto I Beir the Bel appears in the design; the old phrase “bear the bell” means to take first place or hold the foremost rank.
