AUCTION - AOR 2.83 - Country Joe & the Fish SIGNED - Vanguard Record Release - 1967 Handbill - Fillmore Auditorium - Excellent

Very rare, original invitation to the Fillmore Auditorium for the party announcing the release of the first album by Country Joe & the Fish, titled "Electric Music for the Mind and Body" on Vanguard Records. The date was May 11, 1967, which falls in between BG 58 and BG59. Along with Country Joe & the Fish performing, their close friends Big Brother & the Holding Co. with Janis Joplin played. To make this even better it Country Joe Personally Signed this on the back in a black pen. He signed it "Country Joe McDonald Peace & Love" with a peace sign. Very cool. Pictured in the Art of Rock book on page 155 plate 2.83 Invite measures  4 3/16" X 5 1/2". In Excellent Condition with a vertical fold up the center and soft corner tips.
